injury
injury in sparring is quite common esp. when you start getting older and tighter. most commonly are simple bruises which can be kept to a minimum with proper equipment or contact control. for bruise treatment the best remedy i can think of is ice, apply it for 20 minutes along with some elevation and make sure not to apply ice directly on skin.this should help swelling and reduce bruising much more significantly than doing nothing but complaining. another winner for me has been using arnica cream, this is also available in pill form, but i have never tested it so i won't vouch for it. the cream sprads on and helps to heal a bruise much faster than just ice alone. it can also help with some swelling and muscle tightness. all this is just things i've observed and used, some were doctor recomended some weren't so if in doubt always seek a doctors help but most likely you will hear the mantr of R.I.C.E. repeated over and over...good luck
